Final Exam Extra Credit

1. Umar Abbasi had stumbled onto the killing of Ki Suk Han, a man who was run over by a New York subway train after being shoved onto the tracks by an unidentified assailant.
2. Abbasi took his camera and snapped pictures of Han's final moments in an effort to alert the coming train's driver with his flash that something was wrong.
3. I believe that he should have because it is wrong what that person did to push han's onto the train track and with the picture we are able to be aware when someones life maybe in danger and be a little more careful
4. Abbasi tried as hard as he could to get the train to stop or at least slow down to warn them about the man on the tracks but sadly it wasn't enough to stop the train before crushing han's
5. I would agree because people need to know that we ned to be more careful and that some people are just horrible to want to have someone ran over by a train
6. I really don't know i think it may depend on the situation if life or death ever becomes more important but i do believe that deep down in everyone even if it is a good story if someones life is in danger we will go to the rescue and try and save them
7. It might look a little bad that you were at the crime scene and witnessed he death but their is the other side where you were trying to save a life of a man that probably did nothing wrong
8. Again to me it depends on the situation and how everything pans out but if someones life happens to be in danger a good photojournalist would help asap
9. I think that this person is a hero because they tried to save the life of someone they didn't know. It takes guts to try and stop a train and save a life and Abbasi went above and beyond with it.

Photo Composition:

The photographer is using leading lines in this picture. You are able to tell because when you look at the picture their are invisible lines the lead the viewers direction to another point in the picture. I also see this person used repetition because the forest and the patters of the forest just keeps going and going.

The photographer is using rule of thirds. You are able to break apart the picture into threes and see it in a new way. This person also uses repetition because the pattern of the rain drops is repeating. This person is also using leading line by using the lines on the floor to direct your attention to another place in the photograph.

The photographer is using symmetry and patterns and repetition. You are able to look at this picture and see 5 repeating circles and the moon making a 6th circle. This repeats the circle pattern and the moon takes your eyes and makes you see as if it made a 6th circle in the olympic symbol.

This photo shows view point because at this angle  you are able to see more creation and depth to everything she is doing than if you were somewhere else.

This photo shows view point and leading lines. You can see that the angle we are at we can see every move they make and how they do an amazing job. We see leading lines on the number and it takes our attention to another point in the picture.

20 Squares

Quick Write: Dealing with Stress

Stress is everywhere, everyday, all day and sometimes you just have to go around it. I use music to escape my problems. I say do something you love to escape the real world and just be you. Stress is hard to deal with and sometimes we want to give up and quite but we have to remember that after every storm comes a rainbow. The opposite of dark days is light days. You just have to find a way to make peace with it and not let it affect you.
